The Danish team Brøndby IF are known in their country for having a large hooligan element. Especially since the last couple of years, hooliganism found it's way in a country which had always been famous for his happy, non-violent fans who were called "rooligans".
The South Side Brigade from BIF was one of the first hooligan groups ever in Denmark and found much following thoughout the rest of the country. If you want to find out more about the different Brøndby firms, click here.
On the other hand, hooliganism in Belgium goes back a long time. Since the late 70's teams like Antwerp, Anderlecht, Bruges and Standard found themselves having a hooligan following which was not to underestimate. But it wasn't untill the mid-eighties that hooliganism got the status it know has.
Unlike in Denmark where teams have more then one mob, most Belgium hooligan groups only exist of only one main mob. To read more about the evolution of the Bruges hooligans, click here.
